MARCUS RASHFORD has been told: “You Kane be like Harry.”
The message has come from Manchester United caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, whose one-on-one attention to Rashford is already bringing its rewards.
Tomorrow the 21-year-old faces the man widely regarded as the best striker in the business in Tottenham’s Harry Kane, 25.
But Solskjaer sees no reason Rashford cannot reach the same heights.
He said: “Marcus can become a top, top striker.
“We can talk about Harry Kane and his class. Marcus has the potential to get up there.
“He’s got frightening pace, he’s now become stronger and can hold the ball up for us.”
Solskjaer is using Rashford in his favourite position — up front, through the middle — and the result has been two goals in two league games.
A United source said: “Marcus loves working with Ole.
“He praises Marcus constantly, it’s given him so much confidence.”
