CHELSEA fans are furious with manager Maurizio Sarri after he dropped talented teenager Callum Hudson-Odoi back to the bench.
The 18-year-old, who is being relentlessly chased by Bayern Munich, had started the last two games – but has been dropped again for Pedro.
That means Willian, who has come under pressure from home fans, remains in the starting line-up.
Chelsea academy star Hudson-Odoi had provided two assists against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup and had put in an impressive showing against Tottenham in the League Cup semi-final.
But his performances were obviously not enough to impress Italian boss Sarri, who has brought Pedro back into the team.
Willian has become public enemy No1 in recent weeks after a string of lacklustre performances.
Chelsea fans were fuming with the Blues boss – but one Bayern fan was delighted with the manager’s actions.
Complaxes wrote: “Chelsea actually starts with three wingers upfront and none of them is Hudson-Odoi. Sarri Main man, does the job for our club.”
The Brazilian has managed only one Europa League goal and two assists in his last 16 matches – a dire stretch that started at the end of October.
Chelsea fans are not impressed Sarri has continued with Willian, despite the belief Hudson-Odoi could head for the exit door because he is not getting enough game time.
