Southgate extended his contract with the FA in October, which will see him leading the Three Lions at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

And the 48-year-old England manager is said to be committed to the national team.

Therefore, it is not certain Southgate would consider United’s offer, hoping that the arguably most prestigious job the English football would become available again in the future.

The Three Lions manager has been out of club football since 2009, following his dismissal from Middlesbrough.

SunOnline reported on Friday that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy would not let Pochettino move to Manchester United at any cost
