FOOTBALL fans in the UK will now be able to watch one-off La Liga matches for just £2.99 starting from this weekend.
Global broadcaster Eleven Sports has teamed up with digital soccer platform Onefootballmto to allow supporters to stream the Spanish top-flight games.
Users will be able to watch any fixtures of their choosing via the Onefootball app.
Currently, a monthly subscription for Eleven Sports – which was launched by Leeds chairman Andrea Radrizzani in 2015 – costs £4.99.
While plans are also in development for games to be rolled out for Serie C games in Italy, before the model is launched on other Eleven markets from next campaign.
Speaking of the news, Eleven Sports Group Managing Director Danny Menken said: “Fans worldwide are seeking more flexible ways to watch live sport.
“Our pioneering partnership with Onefootball enables us to cater for those needs, while also broadening our reach to a wider fan base.
