MANCHESTER UNITED have delivered a clear sign Romelu Lukaku is on his way out of the club after they ignored him in their announcement of their fixtures for the new season.
Lukaku’s future at Old Trafford has been in doubt since the end of last season with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer preparing for a major overhaul of his squad.
New Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte has targeted the Belgium star as part of his own plans since taking charge at the San Siro.
And Lukaku admitted this week he has decided what he wants to do next season but is waiting for things to play out at United.
Now all the signs are pointing to him heading out of the Premier League, with United failing to use their £75million striker in any promotional material around the new kit and this morning’s fixtures announcement.
The club put together a package for their Instagram account which detailed all their matches for the coming campaign.
Over a series of screens, they listed their fixtures alongside carefully chosen shots of key players in their squad.
That saw David De Gea, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford appearing as the club showcased three of their biggest names.
But instead of using Lukaku, who is the second most expensive signing in their history and one of the biggest name strikers in the game, they then went on to use Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof and Scott McTominay.
That was on the back of failing to use images of Lukaku in their promotional material surrounding the launch of their new kit.

Nothing that is published on official club channels is done so without careful thought and the desire for maximum exposure for the brand.
So Lukaku’s absence points to him unlikely to be part of Solskjaer’s squad by the time the season starts in August with a home match against Chelsea.
Italian club Inter are keen to get a deal done with United, but would prefer they lower the asking price which has been set by Ed Woodward around £75m.
