MANCHESTER UNITED are at their longest ever odds to win the Premier League title after last season’s flop.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the fourth manager of the post Alex-Ferguson era, with Jose Mourinho’s second-placed finish the best result since the legend’s retirement.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Unai Emery have the odds stacked against them

And after the fixtures were released, the bookies rank the fallen giants as whopping 20-1 shots to lift the trophy they have not got their hands on since 2013.

Of the top six, only Arsenal fare worse with oddmakers with their 30-1 prediction highlighting the task Unai Emery has in front of him.

Manchester City are 4-6 ON to retain their title, with Liverpool 12-5 despite pushing Pep Guardiola’s side all the way.

While Tottenham and Chelsea come in at 14 and 20-1 as another two-horse race is on the cards.

Betfair spokesperson, Sam Rosbottom said: “The countdown to the new Premier League season is well underway and following today’s announcement of fixtures we now have an idea of how things could potentially play out.

“We make Manchester City the 4-6 odds-on favourites to go on and win a third title in a row, but we also expect Liverpool to be up their again and they are 12-5 to go one step further and finally lift the Premier League trophy.

“For fans of Spurs (14-1), Chelsea (20-1), Manchester United (20-1) and Arsenal (30-1) it isn’t pleasant reading.

“We don’t see it being a great season for the newly promoted sides.

“Sheffield United are the 4-6 favourites to go straight back down, while Norwich are 10/11 and Aston Villa are 6-4 to be relegated.”
