WEST HAM fans have dubbed the Premier League fixtures as a “fix” as they face a Big Six side on the opening day for a SIXTH year in a row.

The Hammers start their season against reigning champions Manchester City on August 10, after five straight years of horror starts.

West Ham's last six season starts

2014/15: Tottenham (H)

2015/16: Arsenal (A)

2016/17: Chelsea (A)

2017/18: Man Utd (A)

2018/19: Liverpool (A)

2019/20: Man City (H)

Last term, West Ham started their season against Liverpool, following clashes with Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs in previous years.

Now, the West Ham faithful have taken to social media to have a rant over the latest fixtures revelation.

One wrote: “That is now all top 6 in 6 consecutive seasons such a fix against West Ham.”

Another said: “They are not random… This is now the 5th year we have ended up being drawn against one of the ‘big teams’ as our first game, absolute joke.”

A third added: “What a surprise West Ham up against a top 6 outfit first game of the season! #fix”

Here’s how Hammers supporters reacted to the latest fixture reveal on Twitter…

Meanwhile, Arsenal fans are less than thrilled with their start to the season either.

A year on from facing Manchester City and Chelsea in their opening two games – the Gunners start with Newcastle away and Burnley at home.

But things get trickier from there, as Unai Emery and Co head to Anfield to play Liverpool, before getting ready for a North London derby with Tottenham at home.
