ALEXIS SANCHEZ’S exorbitant wages could see suitors Inter Milan turn to Fernando Llorente as plan B, according to reports in Italy.

Man United’s £505,000-a-week man is a target for the Italian giants who are now managed by ex-Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and United are looking to offload Sanchez after flopping at Old Trafford with just five goals in 45 games.

But the Chilean forward’s sky-high salary, which he is unlikely to want to drop, is forcing Inter to turn to alternatives.

And the Daily Mail claim Sanchez’s image rights see his salary climb even higher, to £560,000-a-week in real terms.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter’s other options include former Tottenham and Swansea striker Llorente.

The Spanish striker, who turns 35 in February, scored just two goals over two years with Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs.

Conte, who took over at Inter this summer, worked with Llorente at Juventus where the Spaniard was prolific.

Conte attempted to sign the forward for Chelsea in 2017 as back up to £60million man Alvaro Morata.

The move didn’t materialise and Llorente ended up joining Tottenham instead.

Inter are not the only Italian club interested in signing former Arsenal forward Sanchez, with four others also looking to make a move.

Juventus, Napoli, AC Milan and Roma have all shown interest in the 30-year-old, according to The Times.
