ARSENAL star Sokratis Papastathopoulos has sensationally claimed it is easier to defend against Liverpool than Burnley.
The Gunners will come up against Jurgen Klopp’s side on Saturday after last weekend’s 2-1 win over the Clarets.
Arsenal secured the three points at the Emirates, but were put through their paces by the likes of Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes.
Speaking ahead of the match against Liverpool, he said: “It is a different game. Maybe it is more easy because you don’t have to fight a lot – but they also play football.
“If they are on a good day and you are having a bad day, it is hard.
“In the end, we know that it is different and we respect Liverpool a lot.
“But I think the best [way] is to go and play our style of game. We will see what happens.”
Arsenal and Liverpool both have six points from their opening two Premier League games this season.

Jurgen Klopp’s side thrashed them 5-1 at Anfield last season, but Sokratis has insisted that it will be different this time around.
The Greece international added: “But the 5-1 last season, it was not the game to take five goals – [there was] the penalty kicks, we made mistakes.
“I think this year will be different, but we have to improve of course from the work we do with the coach and his staff.”
