DANIEL STURRIDGE has landed in Turkey to seal his free transfer to Trabzonspor.
The ex-Liverpool and England striker touched down ahead of his move to the Super Lig side.
The striker was wanted by also wanted by Monaco but the Turkish side appear to have pipped them to the post.
SunSport reported last week that Fenerbahce offered the ex-Chelsea and Man City star a £9million-a-year package.
Strurridge is free to resume his career following an FA ban for breaching betting regulations.
The former Bolton and West Brom forward was handed a £75,000 fine and a six-week ban after being found to have told his brother Leon to place a bet on him joining Sevilla in January 2018.
Sturridge is believed to have had 13 offers in total across the globe.
