Luke Shaw hobbles off for Man Utd against Crystal Palace as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer forced into early change

MANCHESTER UNITED were forced into an early change after Luke Shaw was forced off injured against Crystal Palace.

Shaw, 24, picked up a knock just before the half hour mark which he was unable to run off.

The left-back appeared to be struggling with what seemed to be a hamstring problem.

And after succumbing to injury, he was replaced by Ashley Young.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer almost had another injury problem to contend with.

Just before Shaw was replaced, new boy Daniel James required treatment on what seemed to be an ankle injury.

United dominated proceedings in the first half, but they couldn’t make their chances count.

And they fell behind in the 32nd minute when Jordan Ayew found himself free and one on one with David de Gea before providing a cool finish.
