NEYMAR’S staggering £640k-a-week wage demands are a major problem in transfer talks with Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The forward has been pursuing a move away from the French capital all summer with La Liga giants Barca and Real Madrid battling for the Samba star’s signature.
But according to AS the Brazilian will demand a five-year deal worth £32million per season for any potential suitor.
Barca were the first to make a move for the player they sold to PSG for a record £198m two-years ago.
It was understood the La Liga champions lodged a loan bid with the option to make the move permanent for £137m next summer, according to Marca.
However, PSG rejected the offer and insisted Neymar can be loaned out, but only with the obligation to buy the player for £200m next season.
It was off the back of a failed part exchange offer including players like Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic.
And after initially insisting they would not be willing to use Ousmane Dembele as bait, ESPN say Barca are now coming round to the idea of letting the wide man leave.
It follows from reports that Real Madrid chiefs have flown representatives to Paris to try and negotiate a late transfer.
It is understood Zinedine Zidane’s side will be able to offer a better financial package including offering Neymar a healthier wage packet.
