Paper Talk: PSG to replace Neymar with £100m Arsenal, Everton target; Man Utd prepare £80m January raid for English star

PSG are set to launch a huge bid for a Premier League star if Neymar leaves, while Manchester United want a Leicester star to make the same move as Harry Maguire in January – according to Sunday’s papers.

Paris Saint-Germain will target a move for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha if Neymar leaves this summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

Neymar is growing increasingly unsettled in Ligue 1 and is desperate to return to La Liga, where Real Madrid and former club Barcelona are battling it out for his signature.

Serie A side Juventus are also considering a move after the Brazilian was recommended by Cristiano Ronaldo, although no club have been able to match PSG’s financial demands for the star yet.

However, the chances of Neymar staying at PSG do not seem big, with the club openly admitting they are looking for a way to get him out.

Now, the Mirror claim they have turned to the Premier League to identify his replacement – with a £100m offer being prepared for Palace’s Zaha.

The Ivory Coast winger pushed for a move to a bigger English side throughout the summer, but neither Everton nor Arsenal could get a deal done before the Premier League’s window passed.

However, clubs in Europe still have just over a week to complete any more signings, and Roy Hodgson has admitted that Zaha could still leave Selhurst Park for a move abroad.

The Mirror claim that PSG have identified Zaha as a player who, although not on the same level, could match the excitement that Neymar brings to the crowd – so they are set to send representatives to London in the coming days.
