Tottenham have offered Christian Eriksen a bumper new deal at the club that would see his weekly wage tripled to £230,000 per week, according to a report.
Eriksen – whose current deal runs out next summer – was the subject of continued transfer speculation throughout the summer, but Spurs kept hold of the 27-year-old despite Real Madrid one of a number of clubs reportedly interested in him.
The report adds that the North London outfit want to get negotiations over the line soon because as Eriksen is over the age of 23, he is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with another club in January when he enters the final six months of his contract.
Eriksen did not feature for Spurs in two of their first three Premier League games this season, but the midfielder impressed with a goal in the North London derby draw with Arsenal.
