CHELSEA fans are loving the fact that Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount have combined for as many goals as Liverpool’s front three this season.
Abraham and Mount both returned to Stamford Bridge after impressing in respective loan spells at Aston Villa and Derby.
They have since become key figures under new boss Frank Lampard, with Abraham bagging nine goals and Mount four.
Chelsea seem to be getting better with each game after winning four on the trot.
And it has now emerged that Abraham and Mount have combined for 12 goals in total already this term.
That puts them level with Liverpool’s three forward of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
Liverpool’s attack is regarded as one of the best in world football, with the Reds already eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Abraham and Mount are both in Gareth Southgate’s latest England squad, with the latter set to start tomorrow night against the Czech Republic.
And Chelsea supporters are delighted that their own home-grown kids are on a level with some of the game’s elite.
Taking to Reddit, one said: “The amazing thing about Liverpool’s front three is not only how good they are, but how consistently good they are.
“Let’s hope our boys keep it that way!”
Another noted: “Add [young defender Fikayo] Tomori and the three youngsters have more than the Liverpool front three.”
