CHELSEA star Tammy Abraham is the top scorer in English football this year.
The talented youngster is 2019’s leading striker with 20 goals to his name.
That puts him level with Manchester City’s experienced world-class finisher Sergio Aguero.
Norwich hot-shot Teemu Pukki and Championship side Luton’s James Collins also have 20 goals to their name.
That’s one more than Liverpool’s Sadio Mane, Bristol Rovers’ Jonson Clarke-Harris and Tranmere’s James Norwood, who also played at Ipswich earlier in the year.
It makes fine reading for Abraham, 22, who has already fired in nine goals for Chelsea this season.
But the first half of the year saw him bag another 11 for loan side Aston Villa.
He went on to score 26 goals in total for the Championship side.
And Chelsea fans are praying Abraham can bag a similar amount under Frank Lampard.
The last Blue to bag over 20 goals in a single Premier League season was Diego Costa in the 16/17 campaign.
And Abraham has already made a better to start to his Chelsea career than club legend Didier Drogba.
He is now in talks with Chelsea over a new double-your-money contract.
And Abraham’s goal glut has also seen him accomplish his dream of returning to the England squad.
The ace rejected a call-up from Nigeria in order to represent the Three Lions again, with his only two previous caps coming in 2017.
