CHELSEA are reportedly battling Tottenham for Northern Ireland teen starlet Charlie Allen.
The 15-year-old Linfield attacking midfielder has already held talks with Spurs after spending a trial period at the North London side.
Their report states Chelsea have asked Linfield for permission to take him on trial.
The Stamford Bridge outfit’s coaching staff want to take a closer look at the youngster as they consider a swoop.
But both of the capital’s big guns also face competition from Manchester City.
Allen has also spent time training with the Premier League champions and he has plenty of options to consider ahead of a move to England.
Spurs looked to be in pole position for him but now face a huge fight for his services.
