ALEXIS SANCHEZ will see a specialist in Barcelona over his dislocated ankle and decide whether he requires surgery.
The Manchester United flop dislocated tendons on his ankle while on international duty as Chile drew against Colombia.
And according to BBC Sport, the Inter forward will see Dr Cugat in Barcelona on Wednesday to decide whether surgery is needed.
Sanchez could be out until 2020 after Chile manager Reinaldo Rueda confirmed the 30-year-old will miss up to three months.
The ex-Arsenal star has enjoyed a return to form since signing for Inter, scoring in a win against Sampdoria and setting up an opener at Barcelona, despite later losing.
But Sanchez has been knocked back by this latest blow to his fitness, where he dislocated tendons in the 0-0 draw with Colombia.

Rueda said: “He could end up under the knife. Inter, his club, will decide. We could lose him for two or three months.
“It’s a shame because he had started playing again with Inter and scored two goals, while also playing in the Champions League.
“He was happy and super motivated. Now we have to wait for these decisive hours.”
