UNDER-FIRE Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could use five at the back tonight in a bid to halt resurgent Spurs and give himself a breather.
The Manchester United boss knows the pressure will crank up even further if he loses the duel with ex-United boss Jose Mourinho and Saturday’s visit to Manchester City.
And SunSport understands an injury doubt over Anthony Martial could lead to a big tactical switch for the Old Trafford game.
Solskjaer is toying with the idea of bringing in Axel Tuanzebe as a third central defender alongside Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka and veteran Ashley Young would then operate as the wing-backs as Solskjaer looks for a way to strengthen his side defensively.
United have conceded six goals in their last three league matches and have failed to keep a clean sheet in the Prem since September 14.
Former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is being linked with the United hot seat.
But Solskjaer has backed his players to shine under the pressure.
He said: “It’s that time of year and it’s never nice to see your colleagues lose their jobs.
“It doesn’t make me more concerned, I’m just focusing on my job and that’s doing as well as I can, look forward to the next game and looking long term and planning things with the board.
“These next two games are a great chance to improve things.
“When you change managers halfway through the season it’s because a club isn’t where it wants to be.
“I’ve had 50 games since then and it isn’t where we want to be and we have to improve and we are working hard to do that.

“We’ve had too many draws for my liking and defeats of course.
“But the draws we should have turns into wins and football is a results business.
“We know we can do better and are working hard, the work is always geared on us improving but we’re not getting all the results we’ve deserved.”
