SAMUEL ETO’O plans to hit the high notes off the field as well as on it – by launching a career as a SINGER.
The ex-Chelsea and Everton striker made sweet music during his playing career, winning three Champions League titles.
Cameroon international Eto’o hung up his boots in September following a spell in Qatar.
The 38-year-old will now headline a concert in his home town Douala on Friday week.
Billed as Eto’o & Friends In Concert, the gig will feature rappers, DJs and musicians from across Africa.
It is due to take place in the port city’s Parc des Princes, which shares its name with Paris Saint-Germain’s stadium.
Eto’o declared: “On December 20 2019 I will be present in Douala for my first concert alongside [a] few of my friends.
“Want to see to believe? Let’s then meet up this December 20 at Parc des Princes to attend the first show.
“Some people may say Eto’o can’t do it.
“Those who stay away will be proved wrong. We’ll see!! Adrenalin.”
Eto’o recently revealed he will take a business management course at America’s Harvard University next year.
