BORUSSIA DORTMUND’S 17-year-old sensation Giovanni Reyna is on England’s radar – as the USA youth star was born in Sunderland.
Even more impressively, he teed up two-goal Erling Haaland’s clincher in last Tuesday’s 2-1 Champions League last-16 first-leg win over PSG.
Portugal and Argentina are also eyeing Reyna due to his grandparents.
The team sends scouts to watch the starlets, as well as studying hours of footage.
So far Reyna’s dad remains better known in Britain – but probably not for long.
Reyna Sr, who was also a midfielder, won 112 caps for the USA, also playing for Bayer Leverkusen, Wolfsburg on loan, Rangers, Manchester City and the New York Red Bulls.
