BARCELONA’S home kit for 2020-21 season has been leaked online – and fans absolutely love it.

The new Nike strip is heavily inspired by the jersey Pep Guardiola’s all-conquering Catalan side donned for their LaLiga and Champions League double ten years ago.

The American sportswear giants have already had success with their upcoming kit releases after ditching their template designs for next season.

The customised efforts for Korea and the United States were both well received, while Nigeria’s new strip took the world by storm.

Barcelona meanwhile have ditched their unpopular Croatia-inspired chequerboard design after just one season.

Quique Setien’s side drew outrage for ditching the club’s famous vertical stripes for their current look.

But Footy Headlines latest reveal shows they will now have got fans back onside with their ode to two of the most successful periods in Barcelona’s rich history.

As well as the inspiration from the 2010/11 side, the kit is also a nod to the 1920’s era that dominated the LaLiga predecessor, the Campionat de Catalunya.

The 2020-21 kit has thin gold stripes embroidered between the traditional red and dark blue vertical stripes on both the front and back.

And fans were delighted with the new design, with one tweeting: “That Barca mantle is beautiful, in honor of the Champions.”

Another said: “Only thing about Barca that excites me at the moment.”

A third added: “It will be an incredible home kit.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea could end up looking exactly like Crystal Palace if their leaked third kit for the 2020-2021 season is accurate.

The Blues are set to have a new sponsor with ‘3’ confirmed to be on the front of the red and blue striped shirt.

The design which has fading blue stripes was not received well with one Twitter user saying: “That’s hideous.
