ARSENAL have reportedly joined the race to sign Ben White following his impressive loan spell with Leeds.
The Brighton defender, 22, has also attracted interest from Liverpool, Manchester United and Leicester City.
According to Football Insider, the Gunners are keeping tabs on White as they prepare for a summer swoop.
White has exceeded expectations since he joined Marcelo Bielsa’s side on a season-long loan in July 2019.
The 22-year-old has played every single minute of Leeds’ Championship campaign this term after making 37 starts.
And he caught Arsenal’s attention during the FA Cup meeting between the two teams in January at the Emirates.
White, who is under contract with Brighton until 2022, was shipped out on loan to Newport County before he enjoyed a short stint with Peterborough.
He is predominately used as a centre-back, but can be deployed as a defensive midfielder.
The source states Liverpool have a “strong interest” in White, while United and Leicester are also monitoring his situation.
