THOMAS MULLER once labelled himself as the “director of carrots” at his wife’s stables.
And the Bayern Munich star will have one more mouth to feed as he again swapped goals for foals with the arrival of Gameday.
Muller welcomed the adorable foal to the world after Bayern cantered to a 2-0 win over Augsburg on Sunday and maintained their position at the top of the stable – sorry, table.
He shared a picture of him horsing around his latest addition with his 7.2million followers on Instagram.
The caption read: “Welcome to the universe my strong boy.
“His father is called ‘Glamourdale’ so we gave him the name ‘Gameday’.
“As you saw in my story, he was born yesterday evening after our Bundesliga match.”
He even added the hashtag “#waitingforthecarrotmoment” in reference to his nickname.
Lisa Muller has her own stables, but Bayern have nagged the 30-year-old and prevented him from riding the horses.
When Muller was asked why he loves horses, he said: “I come here to watch if everything’s fine.
“And for the carrots. I’m the managing director of carrots!
“I watch the dogs. Sometimes I help a little bit, but it’s her business.
