1 Accelerate with Dock

A great tool for quick access to Windows applications in the taskbar, but if you prefer a more aesthetic and functional docks ObjectDock is $ 10 or free (but old) RocketDock'u try.

2 Change icons

More than some of your applications icon looks ugly. Or, for a more consistent look than one would like to change all the icons. IconPackager then i would recommend you to try.
