Nexus 5 release date, news and rumors

The Nexus 5 is set to be the successor to last year's Nexus 4, and from what we know so far, it's going to be made by LG - just like the previous model.

It's apparently passed through both the FCC and Bluetooth SIG too, so things are looking pretty official, even though Google is yet to make any noise.

We've seen numerous leaks about the device now - we even saw one from a Google promotional video for Android 4.4. KitKat - so we have a rough idea of what the new Nexus 5 will be like.

The Nexus 5 seems set to ape the design of the new Nexus 7, while being the first handset to ship with Google's newest operating system - the aforementioned Android KitKat. Expect it to be powerful, feature filled and reasonably priced.
