World's oldest cat was found

Although hardly a pristine world's oldest cat was found.

In Tibet, the old big cat fossils found. Fossils found in almost intact, is estimated to be 4.4 million years old.

American Museum of Natural History, Jack Tseng, this big cat species found in Tibet, tiger, lion, jaguar is not a direct ancestor of cats like the snow leopard is closer to said.

This species is believed to have spread from Asia.

Earlier in Tanzania estimated to have lived 3.7 million years ago, the big cat fossils had been found.
