A big storm on Saturn; In the center is seen in a vortex formation left to the front of storm

Looks like a work of art but its author is the Cassini space probe. It is a composition made from the Space Telescope captured by the European Space Agency (ESA), which shows, for the first time, the progress of a huge storm in the planet Saturn images.

As pointed out scientists, if this phenomenon had occurred on Earth would have covered all of Europe.

As explained in a statement ESA , the colors of the image have been altered to study the complex processes of meteorology saturnine . White indicates the highest heights of clouds . To the human eye , this storm would look like a bright area on a yellow background .

The storm began to form in December 2010 , and the picture shows how it looked on March 6, 2011 . The head of the captured storm is to the left of the picture, where a very turbulent activity shown in white . In the middle traces of a vortex is beginning to be appreciated.
