High temperatures of 2013 again confirmed the trend of global warming

The seventh warmest year since records began, climate data of 2013 worldwide, confirm the trend of global warming in the long term, according to a study by the American Space Agency (NASA).

The work done at the Goddard Institute for Space Studies, NASA shows that the global average temperature last year was 14.6 degrees Celsius, 0.6 degrees above the average of the twentieth century.

In addition, for 38 years, none the average temperature has been below that average of 14.6 degrees.

Except 1998, the ten warmest years in the 134 records that are available around the globe (which began to be held in 1880) correspond to the twenty-first century, with 2010 and 2005 as they had a higher average temperature.

Scientists, however, emphasize that weather patterns can cause temperature fluctuations from year to year, but the continuous increase of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere are causing global temperatures to rise in the long term.
