New Delhi, Jan 29 (Prensa Latina) Australian and Indian scientists will soon launch a number of small floating robots that will provide information on the resources of the Indian ocean and its prevailing weather conditions.

Indo-Australian Bio-Robots Study Indian Ocean Resources Local media published a note today from the Industrial Research Organization (Australia) revealing that around 3,600 sensors will be released mid-year in open water.
Their mission will be to collect real-time data on temperature, salinity, oxygen, organic matter and other physical, chemical and biological variables in the waters, in order to have a fuller understanding of marine ecosystems and promote their rational exploitation.
