Luis Aragones died in Madrid on Saturday at age 75

Atletico Madrid "mourning" for the death at 75 years of Luis Aragones, former player and former coach of Atletico and national exseleccionador, and sent "a big hug to his family."

"This morning is deceased Luis Aragonés. Everyone in the athletic family are in mourning and we send a big hug to his family," the statement said Atletico Madrid on social networks.

The club president Enrique Cerezo, paid tribute to Luis Aragones, who defined it as "a great player and coach," but also as "a great person and a friend."

"Luis Aragones was a great player and coach, but before all that a great person and a friend," said Cerezo on his twitter account.
