Gomes suffers shoulder injury
Last thing we need was an injury, especially in the goalkeeping area but that is what we may be facing.
Redknapp has reported that Gomes got injured early in the game though the smack he took at the end when he fell on his back looked like it certainly hurt.
The news as it stands right now is basically wait and see as the gaffer is not too sure how bad it is
“Our keeper got a knock in the shoulder tonight which didn’t look very good and he needed an injection,”
“We’ll have to see how he is tomorrow but he’ll probably be a bit stiff so I don’t know how long it will be before he is 100 per cent.”
Fingers crossed that Gomes is ok, he has really shown his true potential this season and now is not the time to lose him
