Looks like Woodgates injury is worst than first thought.
Woodgate has not played since we destroyed Wigan but Redknapp has put a dampener on things when he said
“Hopefully when he comes back he will be able to train properly but he is not able to train at the moment,”
Redknapp said. “It is just a case of trying to get to the bottom of what is causing the problem. He has had a few operations on that area and we are finding it difficult to solve the problem.”
“It is (concerning), for him as well.
“He wants to play football as much as anybody, more than anybody. But hopefully in a couple of weeks it could go away in the same way as it came.
“They feel that the strengthening work that they are doing now is starting to show some signs of improvement, we just hope that that’s going to do the trick for him now.”
Woodgate is a bubbly character in the Spurs dressing room but Redknapp admits the defender has felt low during the injury.
We could do with him back sooner rather than later thats for sure.
