If any Tabloid or online gossip website wants to come up with transfers rumours they could at least use some imagination, but the repeated Pavlyuchenko to CSKA Moscow rumours just smacks of lazy journalism and a desperate attempt at getting website hits.
The Mirror online website (who else?) are at least adding in CSKA Moscow striker Seydou Doumbia as part of the latest transfer rumour surrounding Roman, apparently we are going to offer cash plus Pavy in order to land Doumbia.
I am wondering where this Doumbia rumour even started, yes his agent said he would like a move to London, but why us? Why not Arsenal or Chelsea, it is not like we are that desperate for strikers, Arsenal have a much greater need and Chelsea’s strikers are in need of some replacing considering the age of Drogba and Anelka and uselessness of Torres.
Also, why is it always CSKA Moscow that are linked with Pavlyuchenko? I have never seen a quote from anyone at CSKA claiming they want him.
Just another useless space filler, nothing more, nothing less.
