The injuries are starting to pile up at White Hart Lane and the timing could not be any worse ahead of the game against fourth placed Newcastle United on Sunday.
There was always going to be some injury news after a week of International fixtures, it was just a question of which players would come back worse off than when they left us to report for their national team duties.
The biggest one was of course Adebayor, and his chances of playing against Newcastle are receding by the minute, though there remains a very slim chance he may make the bench.

Not pretty reading that list, but it is not as bad as it looks and some of them may make the bench, not all will be missing, apart from the long term ones of course.
We should still be able to put out a top team, even if we had all the above named players missing, but considering we are away and playing against a very in form Newcastle, it is not the best time to have a long injury list.
