Only one player really being linked with Tottenham today and that is Seydou Doumbia who plays for CSKA Moscow as a striker.
Not sure how we managed to be linked with the player, he does not actually come out and say that he wants to play for Spurs, or for any team for that matter.
Doumbia only states that he dreams of playing in the Premiership one day, that’s it and from that it has been assumed that we would be one of the teams interested in buying him.
The Daily Mirror and Footylatest.com both claim the same teams are interested and it is not a hard guess to those teams maybe, they are us, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd.
Now, the player did make the following comments
“It is a dream for me to play in [the Premier League] one day,”
“Before I came [to Moscow], a big London club were interested in me. However, with work permit problems it was complicated.
So why Man Utd are being linked with him I do not know, regardless, this is a nothing story by The Mirror and I would give the chances of this happening at a minimum.
