The rain didn't stop people from pouring out into the streets of Makati on Friday to get a glimpse of Miss World and the Philippines' pride Megan Young who motorcaded around the city on this wet afternoon.
On Saturday, the 23-year-old beauty queen will visit Olongapo City, where Young originally hails from.
Young arrived in the Philippines Thursday afternoon from London, where she would reside until the end of her term as Miss World.
Young bested 126 beauty queens from around the world to become the first Filipina to win the coveted title in a contest broadcast in more than 180 countries worldwide.
