Miley Cyrus recruited dwarves to dress up as the pink teddy bears at the VMAs. One of Miley Cyrus' backing dancers has blasted the serial twerker, saying their 'degrading' performance at the MTV Video Music Awards left her feeling 'ashamed' of being a dwarf.

Hollis Jane was dressed in a bear costume for what has fast become the most talked about VMAs performance since Britney kissed Madonna on stage in 2003.

And the Los Angeles-based performer, who refers to herself as a ‘little person’, was left ‘shaking and crying’ afterwards.

She revealed on her blog: ‘I was a bear in Miley Cyrus’ VMA performance and. . . for the first time I felt truly ashamed of being a little person.

‘I will be the first one to tell you that standing on that stage, in that costume was one of the most degrading things I felt like I could ever do,’ she continued.

‘After our first dress rehearsal in the costumes with the crew, publicists, performers etc watching us, I walked out of the Barclay Center shaking and crying.’
